Adelaide: Australian cricket's latest poster boy David Warner's heavy workload in all the three forms of the game is a not a concern for Cricket Australia (CA).

Warner is one of the few Australian cricketers who is an automatic choice in all the three teams. The diminutive explosive batsmen is also the star attraction for his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Daredevils.

CA said it is concerned with the workload of the bowlers and the all-rounders.

"The main workload concerns tend to be with bowlers and all-rounders," a CA spokesman said.

"David does work harder than the vast majority of batsmen because of the way he trains and fields. He is a high-energy and active fielder, but we don't have any workload concerns," the official said.

Warner also doesn't want to rest now and said he plans to take a break after the IPL. This year Warner could end up playing 11 Tests, up to 26 one-dayers and 12 Twenty20s.

"I think after the IPL I get three weeks off. Generally I'll take some time off ... and do my stuff, and after the one-day series in England we've got a three-week break as well, where most of the guys generally take their wives and girlfriends around Europe for a couple of weeks. If I get that opportunity and get selected in that tour then I'll probably do the same," Warner was quoted as saying by The Age.

Sydney Thunder boss John Dyson said Warner, who is also the captain of the Big Bash franchise, thrives under heavy workload. "The more cricket he plays, the better he is," he said.
