The frenzy has already started in Chennai as far as the Indian Premier League is concerned. And it showed during an intra-squad training game when the MA Chidambaram stadium saw a packed house.
According to the CSK website, with the stands open for free entry, the game saw as many as 12,000 people in the stadium.
And it was the entry of the CSK captain and Chennai's beloved MS Dhoni that, not surprisingly, brought out the loudest cheer from the fans in the stadium.

The first game of the tournament will see CSK take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at home. CSK have retained almost the entire squad from the previous season, getting in only Mohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaekwad in the player auction. Mark Wood was left out while left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner comes in after missing the last season due to an injury.
The MS Dhoni-led side has won the IPL three times and is also the only team to enter the semi-final in every edition.
