Lamborghini's latest creation, Sesto Elemento, is set to become the world's most expensive car with a price tag of 1.77 million pounds, but it won't be allowed on the roads in the United Kingdom.

According to The Sun, the Sesto Elemento's futuristic lightweight carbon fibre body allows it to go from 0-62mph in less than 2.5 seconds, but it does not meet the safety specifications required to make it legal.

The vehicle's carbon fibre body is too light to meet roadworthiness regulations.

Power will be delivered by a highly-tuned 5.2-litre V10 engine which will develop about 600bhp in a car which weighs less than one tonne.

This makes it 1,210lbs less than a Lamborghini Gallardo and 1,870lbs less than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Just 20 of the cars will be built and will go on sale in October. (ANI)
