Water coolers, wet jute bags provide relief to animals at Chandigarh Zoo(Update: Animals)
Authorities at the Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park in Chandigarh have installed water coolers and wet jute bags in the complex to provide relief to animals from the scorching summer heat.
The authorities have directed attendants to spray water on the animals regularly.
Animals are also being provided with a suitable diet, medicines and glucose to prevent dehydration.
