Vietnam War's 'Napalm girl' pic turns 40 It has been 40 years since the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph was taken during the Vietnam War on June 8, 1972, depicting crying children, including a nine-year-old girl running naked on a road, after being severely burned on her back by a South Vietnamese napalm attack.
The girl will always be 9-years-old in the picture, wailing "Too hot! Too hot!" as she runs down the road away from her burning
