Youth gear up to make Jorhat a plastic free city
A group of young students in Jorhat, Assam, have launched a drive to stop the use of plastic bags.
These students are going around the city and the district persuading people to stop using such bags, as they believe it is causing irreparable damage to the environment promoting global warming.
They have been meeting housewives, students and businessmen to explain the danger of using plastic.
