Rio urges IOC to award Olympics to South America
Rio de Janeiro delivered a passionate appeal for South America to be awarded the Olympics for the first time.Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva told IOC members Friday it was time to address the "imbalance" and give Rio the 2016 Games.
