Karan Singh to get award on art, culture
New Delhi, Nov 13 (IANS) Former ambassador to the US and MP Karan Singh will be conferred the Dayawati Modi Art, Culture and Education Award Nov 24, a statement said Saturday.
The award which carries a cash prize of Rs.201,000, a scroll of honour and a silver shield will be given away by Vice President M. Hamid Ansari.
Singh has written 20 books on subjects ranging from poetry to politics.
