Obama, Romney locked in dead heat if polls were to be held today
US President Barack Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney are locked in a dead heat among Americans nationally, according to a new poll.
According to CNN's latest poll, 49 percent Americans preferred to vote for Obama if the November elections were held today, as opposed to 46 percent for Romney, Politico reported.
