Security stepped up in Punjab as court to give verdict on Beant killer Rajoana
Security has been stepped up across the state of Punjab, as a Chandigarh additional sessions court is due to give its verdict in a case related to Balwant Singh Rajoana, the assassin of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.
The court is due to give its verdict at around 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
However, Rajaona has written a letter to the Akal Takht saying there was no need for anyone to seek clemency
