Little changes in global food prices: UN
The FAO Food Price Index averaged 232 points in Apr, virtually unchanged from Mar, when it fell following eight months of successive increases. However, it was still 36 per cent higher than it was in April 2010, the Rome-based agency noted in a news release. A fall in sugar prices and a decline in rice helped stabilize the index, but international prices of nearly all other food commodities remained
