England's bid to host 2018 Football World Cup 'ruined' by Brown: Report
Former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown ruined England's 2018 Football World Cup bid by rushing to reveal it, according to a report.
According to the Sun, a committee of senior MPs will slam the former PM for "bouncing" the FA into a three-year campaign in 2007 before it was ready.
"The timing appeared to reflect the Government's priorities and the FA got a little bit bounced," said the Commons
