Goa beach shacks to be removed by May-end
Panaji, Apr 27 (IBNS) The Goa Tourism Department has instructed beach shack owners to dismantle the temporary structures by May 31 as the tourist season nears end.Director Swapnil Naik said more than 500 shacks erected on the beaches should be removed by May 31 while also the areas be cleaned before monsoon on June 7. The coastal state witnessed a large influx of international and domestic tourists.
