Former MP arrested while filing nomination papers
Ranchi: Hemlal Murmu, a former Lok Sabha MP of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was arrested on Thursday in connection with a 15-year-old case when he went to file his nomination for the coming state assembly polls.Murmu, who was Lok Sabha MP from Rajmahal seat, was later sent to 14 days judicial custody.
