Weekly wrap: Sensex soars 1082 pts
It was a pretty good week (March 23 - 27) for stocks on the major Indian bourses as strong global cues and raising expectations of a further easing of the monetary policy on the back of falling inflation kept the bulls at play almost right through the five trading sessions. India's inflation rose 0.27% in the 12 months to March 14, below the previous week's annual rise of 0.44%.
