Mango production falls in Maharashtra
Unstable climatic conditions and insufficient rainfall has hit mango production here, affecting the local as well as the export varieties of the fruit.
Interacting with reporters recently, farmers blamed climate change and paucity of water for the dip in production.
"Whatever produce we had this year has been ruined. I think one of the main reasons is climate change and second is scarcity of water.
