J and K to get quake predicting gadgets soon Jammu and Kashmir will soon have gadgets to predict high-intensity earthquakes in the region.
The University of Kashmir, in collaboration with institutions from Bengaluru and Kolkata, plans to install 15 broadband seismographs in the quake prone state to monitor seismic activity.
