Sensex up 75 pionts amid cautious trades; HDFC, JP Associates up sharply
Amid alternate bouts of buying and selling in blue chip stocks, the market remains modestly up in positive territory this morning. The Sensex, which eased to around 15,878 after rising to 16,019.60, is currently at 15,940, up 75.14 points or 0.5% over its previous closing mark. The Nifty is up 27.05 points or 0.6% at 4799.20, around 25 points off the day's low of 4774.45. Top gainers | Worst losers
