Infighting intensifies within CPM ranks, Achuthanandan hits out at Vijayan
Exposing growing dissent with Communist Party of India-Marxist in southern Kerala, veteran leader V.S. Achuthanandan took on party secretary Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday for making 'derogatory' remarks against slain faction member, T.P. Chandrasekharan.
Vijayan had recently kicked up a storm when he dubbed Chandrasekharan, a former CPM leader, a 'traitor,' following the latter's cold-blooded murder.
