MoEF nod for NTPC's Kudgi project
The Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) has accorded environmental clearance for the Kudgi Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I (3x800 Mw) of NTPC, which is being set up in Bijapur district of Karnataka. The board of directors of NTPC Limited has already cleared the investment proposal to the tune of Rs 15,166 crore for setting up the project recently.
