Jacob Ballas set to invest Rs 200 cr in Religare Finvest
NYLIM Jacob Ballas India Fund III LLC (Jacob Ballas Fund) will invest Rs 200 crore in Religare Finvest Limited (RFL), the NBFC subsidiary of Religare Enterprises Limited. Investment will be in the form of compulsory convertible preference shares.
Earlier, Avigo Capital invested Rs 150 crore in November 2011 in RFL. Religare Finvest provides debt capital to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
