Pepperdine rallies past Loyola Marymount 79-75
Pepperdine opened the second half with a 23-4 run to rally for a 79-75 victory over Loyola Marymount in the West Coast Conference opener for both schools.The Lions (9-8) led by as many as 17 points in the first half and 38-25 at halftime, but Pepperdine (5-12) pulled ahead 48-42 with less than 13 minutes to play.Mychel Thompson scored a game-high 22 points for the Waves. He had a career-high six 3-pointers
