Minor irrigation projects on slow lane
Minor irrigation projects sanctioned by National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (Nabard) under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) have failed to gain much ground in the state.
Of the 511 projects sanctioned for implementation, only 23 have been commissioned so far with 123 others being in various stages of completion. Nabard has granted Rs 25 crore for minor irrigation projects
