Multiplexes may invest Rs 400 crore in 2010
The country’s multiplex industry is likely to invest Rs 400 crore in setting up new properties, new genre movies (3D being one) and in at least two big-budget Bollywood releases lined up every month over the next one year. At present, there are about 250 multiplexes in India and close to 900 screens. The industry is expected to see an addition of 40-50 new properties and 150-200 new screens
