Railway earnings rise 15.66% in Oct 1-10
New Delhi: The total approximate earnings of Indian Railways on originating basis during the period from October 1-10, 2009 were Rs 2173.34 crore as compared with Rs 1879.01 crore during the same period last year, registering an increase of 15.66 per cent. Earnings from goods services have gone up to Rs. 1431.58 crore during the review period from Rs 1227.14, showing an increase of 16.66 per cent.
