FIFA likely to give go-ahead to proposed goal-line technology
Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Mohamed Bin Hammam, who could succeed FIFA President Sepp Blatter in May, has confirmed his support for the proposed goal-line technology.
Hammam's backing comes just two weeks before the FIFA Executive Committee (ExCo) meeting which could give it the go-ahead.
"I'm a great supporter for the idea of goal-line technology," Sky Sports quoted Hammam, as saying.
