After moving in a tight band for a long time, the market edged higher during the final minutes and ended the short trading session on a firm note today.The session, convened by the bourses as the National Stock Exchange tested its upgraded upgraded futures & options trading system hardware and software, did not see any big swings in stock prices. And, volumes were not any significantly huge as well,
