Cyndi Lauper set for theatre debut with Kinky Boots musical
Veteran singer Cyndi Lauper forays into theatre with the Broadway musical of the 2005 movie Kinky Boots, which is scheduled to be staged in October this year. The 58-year-old, still known for her hit number The girls just wanna have fun, joined forces with actor-writer Harvey Fierstein and director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell for the production in 2010.
