Veteran Urdu journalist dead
Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) Former chairman of Maharashtra State Urdu Academy and veteran Urdu and Hindi journalist Sajid Rashid passed away here Monday evening. He was 60.
Rashid is survived by his wife and three sons, according to a family member.
Ailing since some time, Rashid underwent a successful heart surgery two days ago at the Prince Aly Khan Hospital, but died Monday evening.
