Nishikant Kamat

Nishikant Kamat, founder and sole proprietor of BLUE CRUSH PICTURES has been active in Indian Cinema and Television for more than fifteen years. Coming from Education related family background he ventured into the creative field of Filmmaking.

Nishikant Kamat started his career as an Editor. After editing for about 5 years he decided to venture into being a Director.

He has successfully directed popular television Serials such as PRATISHODH (SAB TV), TYANCHYA MAGAVAR (PRABHAT TV), POLICE FILES (ALPHA MARATHI), KOIE JANE NA (STAR PLUS), SETU (ETV-HINDI), RAAZ, HAQEEQQAT (SAHARA), UNIT-9 (ALPHA MARATHI).
His directorial skills have made him one of the finest directors in the Television Industry.

As a Writer, Nishikant Kamat has written screenplay for popular films such as JULIE (Dir. DEEPAK SHIVDASANI), SAATCHYA AAT GAHARAT – Marathi (Dir. SANJAY SURKAR) which have been a great success and under production films such as MASOOM (co- written by Atul Unadkat), Mr.Black & Mr.White .

Nishikant Kamat was involved in acting in theatre during his college days. His acting potential has been acknowledged in SAATCHYA AAT GAHARAT –Marathi (Dir. SANJAY SURKAR) and a Indo-French Production Film HAWA ANEY DE (Dir. PARTHO SEN GUPTA), which has won several awards at different Film Festivals world wide.
