Eurokids flags 1000th pre-school; aims to triple network in next 5 years

Mumbai: EuroKids International, one among leading chain of pre-schools has opened its 1000th pre-school in Thane, near Mumbai. With a presence in three countries and over 350 towns and cities, the pre-school chain plans to triple the number in the next five years.

In an official communication, EuroKids International' Co-founder and Group CEO Prajodh Rajan said, "we are experiencing stupendous growth and the 1000th pre-school represents a major milestone that commemorates our expertise of over 17 years in early childhood education.

"The 1000th pre-school is testament to the efforts that our content & academic teams have put in and the years dedicated towards understanding young children & their learning needs. These efforts have defined our progress and are the reason why we are among one of India's most preferred pre-schools," he added.

The pre-school chain ihas added 250 pre-schools in the past year itself. This illustrates the growing popularity and rise in demand for pre-school education in the country.

Shedding light on the company's future growth plans, Prajodh Rajan said, "Currently close to 60% of our preschools are in non-metro cities and we believe that there is great untapped potential in the tier-II and III cities. Therefore, we will largely focus our energies on these territories."

The pre-school chain that operates on a franchise model, says it has empowered nearly 1000 entrepreneurs till date, of which over 80% are women. The franchise model offers a unique training methodology coupled with NextGen advantages and a 360 degree support to help entrepreneurs in building franchise business. In addition to training and support, financial assistance in association with leading institutions is provided to set up a franchise, especially in tier 2 & 3 cities.

EuroKids is evolving the education landscape by paying close attention to enhancing teaching methodology. To ensure that the professional needs of teachers are addressed periodically for effective delivery of curriculum, EuroKids has developed ETAT (EuroKids Teacher Assessment Tool), an online teacher assessment tool, that ensures that the teachers comply with uniform standards and their skill sets are continuously upgraded.
