The Geneva Motor Show has managed to ignite sufficient interest. 34 new brands, and an estimated 700,000 audiences are expected to watch over 900 cars from the Palexpo Convention Center in Geneva, Switzerland.
The show itself is as large as six and half Eden Parks (Kolkata's Eden Park is about 15,725.96 sq metres). At 106,000 sq ft the Palexpo prides itself as the grandest of all Auto launchpads.
Although the show is yet to conclude, but the frenzy among netizens to catch a glimpse of action at GIMS is evident.
While participants such as Audi (e-Tron), Huracan Evo, Lamborghini Aventador, Volkswagen, Renault, Tatas and many prominent names have already shown a glimpse of their prowess; there still remains a good number of cars, at least 900 awaiting to be seen by the audiences.
Entry rates at the GIMS starts at 9 CHF (Rs 621.67) per day for children and pensioners (For adults the ticket costs 16 CHF or Rs 1105). On Sify.com, however, you can catch all the action for free.
