All public sector schools in Kerala are digitally equipped with hi-tech classrooms. That, the state achieved this during a pandemic has brought it praise from all quarters.
With this, Kerala has 45,000 high-tech classrooms for class 8 to 12 that are completely digitally enabled.
The state has 4,742 government and aided primary and secondary schools. There are also 11,275 schools that offer a modern digital laboratory.
Most of the funds were infused by the state government via the Kerala Investment Fund Board. Local MPs and MLAs also contributed with their own local body funds.
