Sharan, Raksha, Ravi Shankar, Chikkanna
The trio, who gave a block buster song of the decade, Khali Quateru Bottli hange, is back with another movie- Adhyaksha or Sharan Adhyaksha! Director Nanda Kishore, actor Sharan and music director Arjun Janya, who had emerged victorious with Victory, are back with their second block buster!
There is no doubt about Sharan?s knack to crack joke about anything on earth, but how successful he is in entertaining the audience as an all rounder, is worth questioning! Adhyaksha, answers to this question, to an extent! As known, the movie is a remake of Tamil block buster Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.
The story is set in the backdrop of a village. Chandru (Sharan) is a happy-go-lucky man who is the president of Chinteillada Tundaayakara Sangha(well this is the literal translation of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam). The movie revolves around the activities of the sangha, also known as Chi Thu Sangha.
Sharan is the president of the Sangha and his best friend Chikanna, is the Vice-president. The duo is engaged in various activities of the Sangha. On the other side, Village head, played by Ravishankar, tries to get his, yet-to-be 18 daughter Aishwarya (Raksha), married. Knowing about this, Chandru stops the marriage. After this Chandru and Raksha fall in love with each other.
After a couple of songs, girl?s father is now against the marriage, this is followed by a series of drama, songs, actions and comedy scenes. Will Chandru and Raksha be able to convince RaviShankar and get married? Or is there a twist in their love story? Well, enjoy this on silver screen!
Sharan wins as an actor. His comic skills are brilliant but however he still lacks to charm audience in terms of romance. Raksha too promises of a new talent in Sandalwood. Ravi Shankar is the main attraction in the film. He wins hearts as a villain. Ravi Shankar?s sense of comic timing, which comes as a surprise, is definitely worth watching!
Actors Srinagar Kitty, Sri Murali and Prem have done a cameo in the flick. Its worth to wait and watch if the Victory trio- Sharan, Nanda Kishore and Ajun Janya can repeat the history of Victory!
The movie however lacks story. Since the screenplay is entertaining the movie just goes on. Arjun Janya?s music is worth listening but does not stay with you for a long time.
If you can enjoy the movie without getting into logic, well this movie can entertain you to the core. For those wanting to have some good laughs, Adyaksha is a good time pass and is definitely worth a watch!
