Several fans of Anushka Shetty are unhappy with the direct OTT release of her upcoming multilingual film Nishabdham. The actress is said to have personally called some of her fans club members and told them to respect the decision of the producers as they have invested a lot in the film.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the makers of the film couldn't release it in theaters so Amazon Prime's offer has come as a big relief for them.
Produced by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation, the film also has Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali, and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in pivotal characters.
Earlier, the producers sent a statement asking the fans to not believe in the direct OTT release reports but now, Amazon Prime confirmed that they have bought the rights of the film in an official statement.
