It’s well known that Madras High Court issued an interim stay order against the release of Nayanthara’s suspense thriller ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’.
Vidiyumun director Balaji has paid Rs 10 lakhs to adapt writer Sujatha’s novel Kolayuthir Kaalam so he claimed the title also belongs to him. Hearing Balaji’s plea, the Madras High Court issued an interim stay order to the Nayanthara starrer.
Filing his response, Kolayuthir Kaalam’s distributor Mathiyalagan has clarified that there is no copyright for the title of Sujatha’s novel so the honorable Justice has now lifted the stay order to the film directed by Chakri Toleti.
As the stay order has been lifted, the makers of Nayanthara’s Kolayuthir Kaalam will soon announce the release date of the film.
