Chennai Box-Office – Nov 21 to 23

Tuesday, 25 November, 2014, 02:32

It was a week of too many releases. The only film to survive the mayhem at the box-office was Sibi Sathyaraj's Naaigal Jaakirathai, which took a decent opening. The wonder dog Idoh did the trick and the film opened at the No.1 slot.At No.2 is Vijay Sethupathi's Vanmham, which inspite of its star failed to take an opening. The film managed a big release at a large number of screens, but is struggling. In third place is the multiplex favourite Interstellar. The Christopher Nolan-directed film is doing very well in 'Plexes and holding well in its third week.At fourth place is Thirudan Police, which is surviving. Kaththi completes this list at No.5.
