It was a great weekend at the CBO. The summer releases Mani Ratnam's O Kadhal Kanmani and Raghavendra Lawrence's Kanchana 2 have taken very good openings. Both films have been appreciated and audiences have accepted them wholeheartedly.Kanchana 2 has taken an earth shaking opening in Chennai city as it is playing in all big screens of multiplexes and has got prime single screens. The horror comedy is being liked by mass audiences and is a runaway super hit, with kids and family audiences lapping it up. It is clear number one by a mile.O Kadhal Kanmani is a high-end multiplex film which is being liked by yuppie audiences for Mani Ratnam's treatment of live-in-relationship and its packaging. The film is playing in smaller screens but is going choker block and is at number two at CBO.In the third place is the proven hit Karthi's Komban, which is holding on well, though the number of screens has come down. At number four is the rock steady Fast And Furious 7, which continues to dominate. And at number five is Udhayanidhi's Nanbenda, which is turning out to be an average grosser.
