Chennai Box-Office - November 13 to 15

The big 6-day (November 10-16) Deepavali weekend is over. The clear winner at the CBO is Thala Ajith's Vedhalam by a mile. The film grossed approximately Rs 3.25 Crore from Chennai city alone, which is huge and is clear number one by a mile.Vedhalam had maximum screens, multiple shows in prime time and was also tax free. The film is being liked by not only Ajith fans, but also family audiences.In the number two positions is Kamal Haasan's Thoonga Vanam, which grossed a decent Rs 1.70 crore approximately. The film did not have as many screens as Vedhalam and number of shows was normal. The film is at number two position and is being liked by multiplex audiences.Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has taken a very good opening in Chennai city and is at number three position. At number four is the rock steady Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, running to packed houses in limited screens. And in the fifth place is Thani Oruvan..
