Chennai Box-Office: November 20 – 22

Tuesday, 24 November, 2015, 07:14

The rains played spoilsport this week at the Chennai Box-Office. There was a drop in collections as walk-in audiences who form the bulk of viewers, just could not make it to the theatres. The bad conditions of roads, flooding and intermittent showers stopped most people from visiting the theatres. The number one at the CBO was Ajith's Vedalam, which can now be termed a super hit. In the second place is the James Bond film Spectre, which took a good opening thanks to Thursday night paid premieres and IMAX@Luxe, with ticket rates of Rs 360.In the third place is Thoongavanam, which has dropped but still holds on in select multiplexes. And in the fourth place is the new release Oru Naal Iravil, which had a limited release. Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is still solid at number five.
