Chennai Box-Office Aug 15 to 18

Ajith's Nerkonda Paarvai continues to dominate in its second week, the all-important Independence Day weekend. The film playing in bigger capacity screens has grossed Rs 1.90 Cr in four days and is at number one slot.

Jayam Ravi's Comali playing in smaller screens has grossed an impressive Rs 1.86 Cr and is at number two position. The comedy entertainer which carries positive WOM can be classified as a super hit in the making.

In the third place is Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal, which has taken a fantastic opening in Chennai city, Akshay Kumar's best ever. And at four is Quinten Tarantino's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. In the last place at number five is John Abraham's Batla House.
