Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Roopa, Ashwini Gowda, Avinash
Chaddi dosth is an out and out comedy movie which manages to tickle the funny bones of every single audience member. It is a romantic comedy film, which deals with the relationship between two childhood friends. A serious subject is hidden in the storyline but it is beautifully handled in a light-hearted way.
Director Shekar has not given much prominence to the story but the rib tickling humour makes it almost unnoticeable. Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila, the lead actor in the movie make up for good combination. Their comic timing is the main attraction in the film.
Chaddi Dosth is the story of Ranganna (Rangayana Raghu) who moves to the big city in search of his brother-in-law so that he can solve the crisis in his village. In the process he happens to meet his childhood friend Kaadhim (Sadhu Kokila).
Kaadhim who is small time pickpocketer, helps his friend and both of them embark on the mission to search Ranganna?s brother-in-law Venkateswhara (Avinash), during which they meet their respective love interests. Sadhu Kokila falls in love with Baddi Bangaramma (Roopa Shree), while Rangayana falls for Ashwini Gowda?s character.
Baddi Bangaramma is fondly called as Baddi Magalu by all and Khadim gives up pickpocketing for her and joins Ranganna to work in the garage. The string of events that follow forms the entire story.
Rangayana Raghu is seen in a more mature role but he delivers a hero?s performance. He can easily convince the audience as the sole hero of the movie. Sadhu Kokila continues his comedy stint in this movie and wins our hearts with his brilliant performance and dialogue delivery.
The chemistry between the lead pairs is also good and both Ashwini and Roopa deliver a good performance and have amazing comic timing. Avinash, Mimicry Dayanand and Sandhya are perfect for their respective roles.
On the music front, Sandalwood?s popular music director Arjun Janya has composed some nice tunes. Most of the tracks like Love Ondsari, Rodige Taaru?.Muddege Saride Niddege Dimbide?.Chaddi Dosth?Dosth? are commendable.
The USP of the movie is Nataraj?s dialogues; he has penned some of the funniest comic lines we have seen. His witty one-liners are sure to glue the audiences to their seats. The movie scores huge bonus points from the audiences for being the perfect laughter riot. A perfect weekend treat and a must watch movie.
