Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for the coronavirus. He is asymptomatic. To participate in the shoot of ‘Acharya’, he went for a test for the coronavirus. The result proved that he got contracted the virus.
Chiranjeevi took it to social media to announce the news, and he also urged all the people who came in contact with him in the past few days to get tested themselves.
Chiranjeevi is under home quarantine. “Took a test for COVID before resuming ‘Acharya’ shoot as a protocol and unfortunately tested positive. I am currently asymptomatic & quarantining myself at home. Request all those who met me in the last 5 days to also undergo covid tests. Will update you on my recovery soon,” he posted the message on social media.
Chiranjeevi recently met Telangana CM KCR along with Nagarjuna. They may now have to undergo tests as well.
Chiranjeevi has been staying at his home during this pandemic period. He stayed away from the shoots to avoid contracting COVID1-19. Unfortunately, he has tested positive even staying at home. During this period, he remained quite active in doing charity work for the cine workers and also regularly posted his cooking videos on Instagram.
The 65-year-old megastar was preparing to resume the work of ‘Acharya’ today.
