Clement Edison, the Forest Department official was super impressed with team Eeswaran as they used CGI and rubber snake in the first look poster and not the real snake. "They explained to us how they converted the rubber snake into a real one with the help of computer graphics and camera angles. Now, it's clear that they haven't used a real snake", said Clement Edison.
Now, the team has been given a clean chit. Earlier, a petitioner wrote to the Forest Department and Animal Welfare Board of India that the crew of Eeswaran tortured a real snake for the shoot.
Directed by Suseenthiran, the film also has Bharathiraja, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Swetha, Munishkanth, and Balasaravanan in pivotal characters.
The makers are planning to release the film for Pongal 2021.
