A fun-loving guy, mischievous and intelligence ? happens to see a responsible and service minded girl and falls in love with her. However, the path he takes to win her heart, leads to trouble. How he manages to make things smooth forms the crux of the story.
Venkat (Varun Sandesh) completes his graduation and is idle. He is not too serious about taking part in the family business and is a very mischievous guy. However he has a kind natured heart and this melts at the sight of Madhumita (Vimala Raman) who is a mature girl taking care of an old age home.
Venkat decides to make her his at any cost and takes the help of his friends and uses his intelligence. Though his love for her is genuine, he makes a mistake which ends in the breakup of engagement of Madhu?s sister Bhargavi (Reshmi).
On the other hand, Madhu develops strong feelings for Venkat and falls in love with him. However, the mistake comes out and things go wrong. How does Venkat correct his mistake, does Madhu forgive him or not forms the rest of the story.
Varun Sandesh could display an established performance compared to his previous flicks and he has shown his versatility by depicting various emotions Vimala Raman is beautiful and she has a mix of good looks along with enticing sex appeal.
Ali and Venu Madhav gave few funny moments, Brahmanandam was barely present, Giri Babu did his bit with ease and so were others like Kota, Rama Prabha, Sakuntala, Surekha Vani and others. Reshmi looked beautiful and though she was brief, she made her presence felt, Anu Haasan is elegant.
The dialogues are just about okay but the screenplay was apt. Music was good in parts and the background score could have been better, cinematography was top notch, editing was crisp wherever required. Costumes and art department are good.
Weak comedy and inconsistency in the script have marred the entertainment factor. While the first half passes off with a relatively lighter vein entertainment, the second half gets a bit dramatic but then the usual entertainment quotient is still maintained. The film is more of a treat for the youth and the family audience and not much for the mass folks though.
Time pass comedy entertainer
Average comedy entertainer
Decent rural family entertainer
Soubin Shahir and Mamta Mohandas shine in this conventional film
