At the media meet of his long-delayed film 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal', Dulquer Salmaan said: "When director Desingh Periyasamy narrated the script, I loved it but was unable to immediately allocate dates, he patiently waited for two years and then, we commenced the film. Contrary to popular opinion, KKK is not a romantic comedy, this film has a serious angle too".
"While the film got the young vibe because of the presence of youngsters like us, Gautham Menon is KKK's anchor. He is the Superstar, even in this auditorium, Gautham gets the loudest cheer. His majestic screen presence is the biggest strength of our film", added Dulquer Salmaan.
"Desingh Periyasamy originally wrote the antagonist's character for SJ Suryah but since he decided only to play hero, I came on board. As Dulquer has given his nod for this film, I was confident that it would be a good script", said Gautham Menon.
Produced by Anto Joseph, Viacom 18 is releasing the film worldwide on February 28. The film also has Rakshan, Ritu Varma and Niranjani Ahathian in pivotal characters.
