Gopi Nainar, director of Nayanthara’s Aramm says that the actress never used caravan during the shoot.
“Nayanthara has worked as an assistant director in our film, she would perform her scenes, check it in the monitor, wait patiently for the next shot and never used the caravan”, says Gopi Nainar.
On his first meet with Nayanthara, Gopi recalls: “It was Sarkunam, who recommended my story to an executive producer named Soundar, who arranged a script narration session with Nayanthara. Within five minutes of the narration, madam was impressed with the story and then, she only talked about the shooting schedule, how to enhance the script and we immediately got into work mode”.
“How our water resources have been slowly commercialized is the basic plot of Aramm. Water is called as the 'White Blood' but today, it was sucked out completely. Only recently, we have started protesting against this cruelty”, adds Gopi Nainar.
The shoot of Aramm had happened in Appanur near Paramakudi. The director says “I should thank all the junior artists who worked hard despite the hot climatic conditions. Almost all of us had fainted at least once during the shoot".
