Raghava Lawrence choreographer turned actor and director is always known for his philanthropic and genuine gestures. Whenever the people are facing difficult situation Lawrence has stepped forward and donated to the cause.
Now Lawrence has gone out of his way to donate a whopping Rs 3 Crore to organisations involved in COVID19 relief works. He has signed a new film Chandramukhi2, to be directed by the man who did the original P Vasu and it will be produced by leading producers Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures. Lawrence has got an advance of Rs 3 Crore for the film which he will donate to various COVID19 relief works.
The actor in his statement said – “I humbly pledge to contribute Rs 3 Cr , with following split up – Rs 50 lakhs to PM-Cares Fund, 50 Lakhs to Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Relief Fund, Rs 50 Lakhs to FEFSI Union, Special contribution of Rs 50 lakhs for my dancers union, Rs 25 lakhs to my physical abled boys, and 75 lakhs for daily labours and people from my birth place Royapuram , Desiyanagar.”
