Darshan, Deepika Kamaiah, Bhavana, Teju
Dance choreographer turned director Harsha seems to have hit the purple patch in his third attempt as a director.
Harsha has made a mark in Darshan starrer Chingaari which captivates the audience through its racy narration, top class visuals, breath taking action sequences and an awesome sensuous song.
The fast paced narration in the first and the last twenty minutes reminds one of a Hollywood film thanks to the commendable job done by Harsha and his team.
Though the narration is super fast, some portions in the second half loses the focus. In the first comedy seems a little illogical. Though the film is heavily inspired by Liam Neeson`s Taken, Harsha has tried to include a love angle to this thriller.
The commercial elements would seem a little illogical if it were not for Darshan acting skills. Harsha has added a surpise element in the film by introducing two young heroes in negative roles, but they do not make a great impact.
Raja aka Chingaari is a police investigator who is attracted to a guitarist, Geetha. A misunderstanding separates them and she flies to Switzerland for an audition.
Raja comes to know that she has been kidnapped by a gang of criminals involved in human trafficking. You got to watch the movie to know what follows.
Darshan impresses with his stylish looks and mind blowing action sequences. Even his comedy timing is perfect in the film. His fans can also have the regular quota of punch dialogues.
Bhavana impresses most with her chic and dashing looks. Her sensuous dance number is sure to rattle many young film fans.
Deepika Kamaiah, the heroine looks like an apt choice for the role. She has lot of sequences with Darshan in the first half in which she has done a good job. Srujan Lokesh, Ramesh Bhat, Praveen and Yashas have performed well.
H.C.Venu`s camera work is mind blowing. He has executed many sequences with lot of style thanks to superb framing and the light work. Hari Krishna`s music lacks consistency except for the `Kaiyya Kaiyya` song. But he has compensated it by giving mind blowing background score.
Chingaari will be a treat for Darshan fans.
