I was impressed by a tourist guide who once defined God as "Generator, Operator and Destroyer" moulded into one.

The film is aided by a battery of legal advisors and the Gujarathi play, Kanji versus Kanji. Had OMG Oh My God! released in a fundamentalist country, there would have been widespread protests. But in India, the producers were guided by the censors to post a disclaimer: that the intention of the film makers was not to hurt any religious sentiments.

OMG Oh My God! revolves around an atheist Kanjilal (Paresh Raval ) who sells idols of gods and goddesses, claiming they are antique and getting customers to pay more than the product's actual cost.

One day, he invokes the curse of a godman, which coincides with an earthquake that leaves his establishment in rubble. And though he runs from pillar to post to get compensation, the insurance company rejects his claim stating that acts of god are not covered under the policy.

This premise, which is obviously faulty, is taken up as the theme for this comedy caper.

Kanjilal then decides to sue the gods and their representatives on earth. Now lawyer takes up his case, except one (played by Om Puri) who is handicapped.

We are also introduced to an impressive godman Dada (Mithun Chakraborthy) who apes controversial godmen and leaves us laughing our guts out.

How the story weaves around with court room battles and funny incidents has to be seen on the big screen.

How God takes human form to guide an atheist and turn him into a believer to teach the commercial godmen a lesson seems to be the storyline in a nutshell.

The entire film is carried on the acting talent of Paresh Raval. Akshay Kumar lends moral support playing Lord Krishna.

OMG Oh My God! has no heroine. Nor does it have an item number. But there is the song Go Govinda where Prabhu Deva and Sonakshi Sinha give us some entertainment.
